First were the marines...

The "Blobbing" story began with gas and oilfilled rubber bags which they used to transport fuel to overseas operations. Adventurous sailors jumped off the carriers onto the Blobs and discovered the Blob Effect.

THE REST IS HISTORY: "BLOBBING" SOON BECAME THE USA'S FAVOURITE FUN WATER EVENT.

... and then came the folks.

Blob Europe - the general agent for Blobs in Europe - brought the trend over from the US and was already celebrating its first successes in 2009. We were able to get US superstar Xzibit to be a member of the jury at the Blob contest in Turkey, MTV and PRO7 gave the new trend extensive coverage and Blobs proved their potential as publicity magnets at countless events.

WE WANT "BLOBBING" TO ESTABLISH ITSELF AS A FUN WATER SPORT AND BECOME A MASSIVE WATER ATTRACTION IN EUROPE AS IT ALREADY IS IN AMERICA.

Blob Europe has big plans: besides selling Blobs, we want to concentrate on renting Blobs and above all expanding "Blobbing" as a fun sport. The "eublob" association has already been founded and our own European Championship is being planned.
